An important one today between Birmingham Bulls and Sandwell Steelers. The Steelers needed the win to take the division championship.

Birmingham had the run of things in the first half going 14 up in the first quarter.

Sandwell came back with a TD just before the half but were unable to secure the extra point.

Birmingham struck again in the second half with a TD and 2 point conversion.

Sandwell came back with a touchdown but failed to convert the 2 pointer.

Birmingham picked up a fumble and ran it in for a TD plus 2 point conversion to make it 22-20.

The Steelers made it 22-26 with a touchdown but missed the extra point. That was to be the final score.
